It’s where you’ll find honest coverage of headphones, earbuds, speakers, soundbars and much more.

Who is Loudmouth?

At the moment, Loudmouth is the product of one individual: Me.
I’m Simon Cohen.

I spent the first chapter of my career building the Canadian internet, first at AOL Canada, then at Sympatico.ca.

In 2014, I struck out on my own as a freelance tech journalist, contributing to publications like VentureBeat, OZY.com, CTV News, and Mobile Syrup. In 2018, I decided to specialize in audio/video, eventually becoming a senior contributing editor at Digital Trends, with bylines at WIRED, The Guardian, TechRadar, and Mashable.

I still write for these publications, but Loudmouth is my home. I hope you’ll make it your home, too.
